DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

On a day in 1776

America yelled hooray! To independence

All 27 amendments have a large purpose

to protect the rights of America

One amendment is about slavery

Another is about studying your own religion.

It gives you the right to be who you are religiously.

Our founders made this declaration to

keep America sane.

56 greatly important people signed

this document.

Making the Declaration of Independence

was no accident.

We all know it keeps America together

even though the rules are sometimes disobeyed.

We all our Independently safe in the end.
